Submitted by Black Socks on

M is out on the field in Florida.  Anyone else got any tidbits?  Can't wait to see the maize and blue on the field again.

No face to face contact.  Can talk to him on the phone.

Which I guess could make for a funny scene where he is within 40 yds of a coach but looking away from said coach but talking to him on the phone.  With compliance forming a f**** wall btw the 2 entities.

Getting pumped for this game. I have the week off of work and can't wait for Friday. Michigan needs to win this game to set the stage for next season. I think a bowl win probably puts Michigan in the preason top 10 or just outside of it. Go Blue!

It's been understood for awhile that he and or his family aren't happy and he's not returning. My guess is he's working towards his degree so he can graduate and go play at UVA, Virginia Tech or something closer to home. Wouldn't shock me if he went to Maryland with Durkin and former UVA HC Mike London. I think that would be a great fit for him with that incoming QB. Rudock grad transferred to us in conference so obviously it's not unheard of.

That's exact the point...they have new coaches. People he doesn't know. Maryland has London was a GREAT recruiter in VA. They have Locksley as well. Toss in that Durkin knows him and coached the other side of the ball and it makes perfect sense. Durkin had no impact on Green's lack of PT. 3 coaches he likely knows well.

Rudock transferred in conference and was approved by Iowa because Michigan was not on Iowa's schedule this year. Michigan plays Maryland next year (every year actually). He will not be transferring within the division. I agree that Virginia or Virginia Tech make sense.

I'm really not sure Green is good enough to play at UVA, Maryland, or VT either. We don't have the greatest stable of backs and he still ended up like 5th by the end of the season.

I'd bet Richmond or Virginia State

I may be in the minority here but I think he still has better vision and moves then Smith. Seems to me that Smith was. Better practice Ayer then both Green or Isaac but I think those two are far better athletes then Smith and if given 15 + carries a game it would have shown. Just my opinion.

As Smith could niece see the hole correctly. He had to have a huge gap to be consistent. Green and Isaac IMO can make there own holes. They always could anticipate the hole closing and move a different way. I just don't think either Isaac or Green had a fair amount of carries to show there vision etc
