I think we win it all in 2017 with Yaklich. That team had more offensive talent than last years team, and with his D, we would have been unstoppable

Villanova didn't know what to do. M stymied every move to the basket and challenged every shot. I don't know a lot about basketball but watching it I could tell that M was playing superb defense and was in the right spot every time, cutting off lanes, helping on drives. That overall team defensive effort was astonishing.
The D is the key for this team. They frustrated Nova into turnovers and then capitalized on the other end and rubbed it in their face. I loved every minute of this game. GO BLUE AGHHHHHAGAGHH!!!!!

Those boys (and coaches) wanted a bit of payback for the NC. Normally, I would suggest that recompense can’t be achieved by only winning a regular season game, but when you absolutely embarrass a top 10 team on their home court....it sure feels like the scales of justice were balanced!
