Like I've posted several times in the past, I work full time, 8+ hours/day. And like I told "Boliver46" when he made a snarky remark a couple days ago, I actually work when on the clock, meaning that at most I have a few minutes during my workday while on lunch or coffeebreak to monitor the MGOBOARD.
Modding is a voluntary unpaid position. Last night I had to pee ? and woke up around 3 am, made the mistake of looking at my phone, and spent close to an hour locking an anti-trump political thread and then banning the OP and 8 others who were slinging shit at each other.
I have full respect for you as an MGoUser, "Ibpeley"--- I believe (unless I'm mistaking you for someone else), that we've conversed about ice fishing on a couple occasions a few years ago, so I'm pretty sure you're an OK dude.
Why then the venom towards me as a mod? Especially when I am trying my best to keep the peace here AND doing it without combat pay? Maybe your venom wasn't directed specifically at me, but sure felt that way
I try to be as nonpartisan as possible; for instance, if you look at the mod sticky thread from 2 nights ago, you'll see I banned a user calling himself "goblue4biden2020". And I've banned numerous other "leftists" since I started modding.
Frankly, I'm getting tired of being constantly falsely accused of banning only those in the "right wing" lane.
