The Long, Cold Football Off-Season Is Upon Us.

Submitted by Gordon on

Now that Brian has turned comments back on, Wilton Speight has transferred, and Tennessee is showing more concern for Penn State's victims than State College, the true college football off-season is upon us.

Yeah, I know there are bowl games to come, including one for Michigan.  And conference championship games next week.

But the true week-to-week college football season is over.

Only nine months until we, due to scheduling, care about Notre Dame again.

This is weird this year. Last year at this time it just sucked after the osu loss this year is maybe the most genuinely excited I've been about the next year. I'm not a "we'll get em next year guys!" type of guy but I am jacked up about next year.

I hope UM shows up big in the bowl to kick off next year right. I hope we see this young team come out excited as hell to set the tone to start next year. This is a big offseason for Michigan. Harbaugh has talked about "getting stronger" much of that is metaphorical talk about mindset and toughness but I think a lot of that is literal. A whole lot to get done for these young guys in prep for next year and all we can do is wait and see.
