Barring a breakdown in formal contract negotiations, Ndamukong Suh will sign with the Miami Dolphins after the new league year officially begins Tuesday for a deal that will pay him approximately $114 million with $60 million in guaranteed money, league sources told ESPN.

HATE to see Suh go, but think it is the right move. You can't throw that kind of money at that position. It will give the Lions tons of flexibility in free angency to add depth across the board.

That's what I think is overlooked a lot: we were historically unlucky by getting locked into horrid contracts highly drafted rookies. Before rookie pay scale Implemented, top 2 picks got pro bowl $$ before playing a down.
