I am so glad that we now have an Athelitc Director that shows leadership in the athletic department. No he should not have had to write this letter. We should be all show good sportmenship. But that is not the case for the few idiots fans that we have. I would like to see such idiots thrown in jail for such nonsense.

We shall rise to win the next game. Go Blue!

He continues to show that he is an adult and behaves like the serious adult who runs a multi-million dollar enterprise with a large public face.

Great choice, and I hope after the season is done, he'll be convinced to stay on.

a Michigan man....... Well I do know what a Michigan man would never do and that would be throw any player under the bus for being partly responsible for a bad play, just like the one you watched unfold in horror yesterday.

If you are not familiar with the "No True Scotsman" fallacy, please google it.

In this case, it is not a fallacy.  No true Michigan man or woman would send hurtful, spiteful or vicous comments to one of our students because of a muffed snap (or any other missed play, or anything else).

As sick as I felt at the end of the MSU game, this is worse.  Mr. Hackett was right to address it in the way he did.

I'm ticked off at this, and definitely feel anyone putting up death threats (cyanide, spikes, go back to Australia, cut your hands off), should be outed and banned.

There was one time, however, when Brian outed / covered the douche student who wanted to crowd source a "new" Michigan song. There was an awful lot of backlash here at the website from users who thought Brian went too far.

So what is it? Brian and Seth have the power to not only ban users, but also to front page their real names and contact info. Should they ever use that power? At what point does the veil of internet anonymity get shredded?
