I am so happy that I was wrong. My perpetual pessimism about Michigan Athletics keeps me underestimating some great men. I spoke to my close friends at length about how it was a questionable hire. I was wrong. I was wrong. I was wrong. Coach Howard is doing amazing. Thank you Coach Howard.

I definitely deserve to eat whip creamed cover poop - I had major doubts about his hire as well as my expectations for DDJ and EB - they both have produced at a high level and I am glad they have stuck my foot in my mouth. The team looks prepared, organized and confident. Go Blue!

On this one, I don't have to say I was wrong because I thought it was a good hire from the start. We weren't going to draw any established big names and the recruiting upside and basketball knowledge made Howard worth the risk to me. I am extremely happy with the early results though. I am so happy for Juwan Howard, you could tell he wanted this one too.

I was all in for the hire, but honestly saw us at 2 losses at this point. More due to the roster shift. Juwan is so relaxed, no panick and it rubs off. A few games I've watched and it looked like we were letting the game slip away, he's over there calm. Most coaches get a look, antsy. He can become a great coach if he keeps it up.

We have been so spoiled with Beilein. Juwan coming in and not just winning early, but doing so against UNC and Gonzaga on neutral courts, and with a style that is his, not a Beilein carryover! Bench coming in with real confidence. Defense playing so well. Team really playing united and focused. I feel so blessed! I'm drowning in koolaid, but I see years of fun in front of us.
