+1 for homeschooling!  It's not for everybody, but my kids and I had a great time fnding our way from ABCs and primary colors to trigonometry and world history, by way of human anatomy, basic chemistry, and lots of reading.  Two college graduates, one current college student, and the caboose is a high school senior, and we're all still standing.

I had a buddy that played for KSU while I was in school. He said the CA recruits would tell him that when they got back to CA from the visit their friends and family would lined up asking what it was like going to KS. A lot of them think going to KS is also traveling back in time 100 years.

That's kind of what I was thinking when I saw this - this really is kind of a slow bye week for him, being out in California visiting a recruit and announcing the homecoming queen at his high school. You kind of expect that he would do this 2-3 times in one day on a bye week, but I suppose he enjoys the rest in only making one such trip.

This guy...is unbelievable.  So fortunate he is our coach.

He's going to drive Saban to a mental breakdown.

Fineburg is going to be pissed. He'll claim it's an unfair advantage, rail against Michigan and admonish the NCAA for allowing this to occur. Saban would never stoop so low. Just because it's not against the rules, doesn't make it legal, he'll quip. But deep down we'll all know the real reason he's mad is that Harbaugh announced Tatiana as the Queen and not Paul.
