EDSBS has fallen HARD if that's indicative of what's up there now. I mean I doubt that piece would survive a Mod killshot on the sideboard here-much less posting on the front page.

They can't all be winners. The one about him pardoning a turkey and the one where he tries to recruit barnyard animals while on a spring break camp tour were comedy gold.

I love EDSBS but this isn't their finest work. Everybody hits a grounder to second now and then.
I'm curious what movies they are spoofing. Sparatacus, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Roman Holiday? What am I missing? Also, who is the woman photoshopped on the moped with Harbaugh.

Judge Judy...based on his admiration for her, I suppose, still not funny.

EDSBS used to be my 3rd favorite college football site, behind MgoBlog and TTB. I loved to read 90% of the content posted there, especially the commentariat. Something changed within the last off-season...less fodder for folks to comment on, which is as fun as the actual articles IMO. Spencer is still a great writer and voice for college football, but EDSBS just doesn't have the feel that it used to have, at least for me. I sincerely hope that MgoBlog does not follow in that mold.

When they stopped doing Hatin' Ass Spurrier it started to become very bland. I assumed he would keep it going for a while, since Steve was "resigned, not retired." Then again, does one ever "retire" from hatin' ?
