Iman Marshall goes Skating at UM

Marshall said he couldn't get new Wolverines coach Jim Harbaugh to join him on the ice.

The interesting story behind Warren’s recruitment is that USC appeared to be the leader for the past few weeks, or at least a California school. However, after the Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio, things slowly started to shift in Michigan’s favor. Fellow incoming recruit Ryan Mallett continued his part as a recruiter as he worked on Warren and definitely helped Michigan out. Then, in the last couple of weeks, things really began to look better for Michigan after visits with Lloyd Carr and Ron English.
Ron English really has to be commended for his recruiting skills. He went out to California and connected with Warren in a way that made the recruit and his parents feel comfortable in letting him head all the way out to Ann Arbor. English certainly is building a strong resume for being a head coach anywhere someday simply by how great of a recruiter is. Hopefully his skills will continue to be shown in the coming days.
