How long would you give JH to decide?

Right now the great coaching shuffle is beginning- people are getting offers, counteroffers are coming back, then replies, talking to trustees, etc. this is an intense but fast paced process.

And this is just the first round- once coaches are picked then there is another grab for the best assistants, offers, counters, etc. Assistants can make or break a program in some cases.

Most teams are moving on their prime coaching candidates, then option B, C and do on. Options close and new options are considered

At some point a team can lose just by coming late to the dance and finding no more suitable dates

So, if you were on the committee, how long would you give JH to make a decision? we could wait weeks and he could say "no" and the program could be stuck with another 4 years of substandard coaching and some plan "G" coach.

How much do you gamble and when do you fold your hand?

If he truly is 50/50. So I really hope Hackett can stay the course and not feel pressured to pull the trigger on someone like Schiano or Adazzio. Because, then we'll most likely be drowning in infinite CC threads in another 3-4 years
