I think everyone will get it on here, but not sure I'd pick it up if I just saw you driving down the street.
September 19th, 2010 at 11:32 PM ^
I'm guessing that's kind of the point.
September 19th, 2010 at 10:14 PM ^
I am having this mental image of the citizens of Ohio working out phonetics.

OH-NO.
That's pretty good too though.

B'cuz if your typical hate filled buckeye fan, especially one that knows how to read, realizes what you have done, your car is going to get vandalized something fierce.
September 19th, 2010 at 10:19 PM ^
doubtful anyone will figure it out. If someone reads it for them, there will definitely be trouble.
September 19th, 2010 at 10:21 PM ^
That's epic.
September 19th, 2010 at 10:22 PM ^
especially one that knows how to read
I think he can get better insurance rates given the probability of this in ohio vs. other states.
September 20th, 2010 at 12:41 AM ^
The plate doesn't even say what the worst state is. I think it's a good balance between being insulting and not getting your car keyed or your tires slashed.
September 19th, 2010 at 10:17 PM ^
but i'd prepare for your car to be shat upon.
September 19th, 2010 at 10:18 PM ^
I saw your car while tailgating for the UConn game. Nice purchase it was.

Imagine what will happen when someone doesn't get the "buck" part. You will get some pretty awkward looks.
September 19th, 2010 at 10:52 PM ^
Hahaha!! This one's great as well.
September 19th, 2010 at 10:32 PM ^
But they will kill your car in Ohio
September 19th, 2010 at 10:36 PM ^
A thing of beauty is a joy forever
September 19th, 2010 at 10:43 PM ^
they hate all things michigan down there? Speeding seems to be a capital offense IF you have michigan plates! your court cost are going to kill you.
true story: back when i was a young engineer -- read single -- i drove from toledo to cinci every week. i was following a michigan plated car that was going abit over the posted speed limit, about 20+. the state trouper going north on I-75 , crossed the median, ignored me and nail the guy with the michigan plate.
September 19th, 2010 at 11:38 PM ^
Don't you mean... [Driving?] "seems to be a capital offense..."
September 20th, 2010 at 12:13 AM ^
I don't go home to my 'rents during late november, then you are corect, driving while michigander is an offense.
September 19th, 2010 at 10:47 PM ^
When moved down here (Dayton, OH-NO) in 2002, I got "MGINEER"... spent 45 min at the BMV explaining that it wasn't code for being in a cult or something explicit. Would agree with emailers above.. get ready for your car to get shat on. Seriously.
September 19th, 2010 at 11:26 PM ^
Not to mention that all those OSU grads who now work as meter maids may start writing you parking tickets that never go away...
September 20th, 2010 at 8:41 AM ^
And I didn't even get a sideways look when I asked for "8008135". Then again there are tons of vanity plates around here and there only appears to be one person on the road who ever got what I was going for. Him giving me the thumbs up was totally worth it.

Epic win!!
September 19th, 2010 at 11:31 PM ^
...the car. For this one, sure:
Since your other car is an X6 M (IIRC), I'd say it's probably not worth the risk.
September 20th, 2010 at 12:33 AM ^
That is one awesomely outsized cargo carrier on top of that beauty

I had to drive through Ohio again when I moved back to Michigan from NY this fall, and let's just say I have a very distinctively colored 15 year old car completely decked out with UM stuff from almost every viewing angle. I think the only thing saving me from getting pulled over was the fact I was towing it behind an RV and couldn't really get it above 60-65 anyway.
September 20th, 2010 at 12:47 AM ^
What was his reason for giving you a ticket then?
September 20th, 2010 at 1:03 AM ^
I've been a victim of it many times in Ohio. It's a classic case of DWB*.
(* Which of course means "Driving While screaming go Blue.")

I'd go with WRST ST. Don't get greedy and try to cram the whole phrase in there.
September 20th, 2010 at 7:33 AM ^
I think that is a fantastic license plate. If you've got any Michigan gear on you car, I think you'll get a reasonable number of people that figure it out.
Unlike the OSUSUX plate, that I think would play okay in places away from Columbus (such as Cincy, where I'm at), that plate is asking for some pranks (or worse) to your car anywhere in the state. Make sure you've got good insurance!
September 20th, 2010 at 7:56 AM ^
I dont have a picture of it, but my cousin has O VRATED on a 1950 chevy pickup on his ohio plates. Its a block O vanity plate...looks pretty good.
