Here's To A Great October

Submitted by UMAmaizinBlue on

MGoBlue releases the Top 10 Michigan sports plays of September. Looks like Michigan athletics have been dominating in the month of September. Let's keep it rolling well into October and beyond. Go Blue!

P.S. - Nkem Ezurike looks like she's one special soccer player. She has the same number of Top 10 plays as Denard!

P.P.S - Gotta love the UCONN cheerleader reactions at 0:48!

Well, that doesn't preclude only 1 loss in the other month. Given the choice, I would say November, because we would have the tie-breaker on the two teams that we will likely be playing against for the Big10 championship. If we beat both of those teams, we are likely to beat MSU and one of Iowa/PSU. That would mean 1 loss overall and the Big 10 championship.

...is that RR has only deployed a part of the playbook. Now that B10 season is here, we'll see more dynamite from the O-side of the ball, I think.

I could watch his highlights all day.  That ND long TD run was freeking awesome.  I love how the corners / safeties had good lanes on him and he just sped up so that they couldn't close.

Here's hoping the October highlights feature lots of Carl Hagelin, Dan Madwed, more Nkem Ezurike, and of course a healthy helping of Denard.  Bowl eligible by Halloween.  Go Blue!

Seeing how this season has played out, I certainly feel a lot better about October now.

- @ Indiana - we should win this one

- Sparty - still a tossup/dogfight

- Iowa - this looks more winnable in light of their performance against AZ and the plague that hit their RB corps.

- @ Penn St - they are starting Bolden and now have a converted DL starting at OT; I may be drinking the cool-aid but I now actually expect to win this game, I don't care how much our defense sucks.

Now if we could only get some shaudenfreude for Wisky and that school in Columbus to help our November ...

...above that the Nkem Ezurike goal (#2 of the list) was absolutely incredible.  That Meram to Soony Saad goal was nice as well.  I went to the Men's Soccer game last Saturday night against OSU (sadly a 1-0 loss) and Meram was clearly the best guy on the pitch.  I still can't believe that they weren't able to pull out a goal in that game.  They dominated possession and scoring opportunities.
