Who says they wont use their closer in this game? If they need him, they'll use him. He's either gonna get 4-5 days rest or 8 months of rest.

He's a closer who hadn't thrown more than about 20 pitches in a game all year, and he threw 77 yesterday. It would be massively irresponsible for the coach to give him the ball again. It's more likely that we'd use Kauffmann for an inning; at least he's had a day off.

Meanwhile in the NHL, the Boston Bruins just defeated the St. Louis Blues in game six in St. Louis 5 to 1. Game seven is in Boston on Wednesday night at 8 PM.

I actually like these announcers
They explain baseball to the casual fans and talk the entire game,with no awkward pauses.Yes they are west coast homers,but they talk up the players on both teams pretty well and they both seem to know the game of baseball pretty well.
The color guy is doing a decent job tonight. He was horrible last night. Extremely annoying. Hopefully he can keep himself together.
The play by play guy is pretty good. He occasionally can't disguise his contempt of the color announcer...which is understandable, and hilarious.
