Fuck Spectrum and Disney

How in the fuck do you remove all of your stations from Spectrum at the goddamn start of the goddamn college football season.

I spend $200/month to these whores. I also pay for espn plus just in case. Now I can't watch any of it?

Fuck ESPN, DISNEY, CHARTER SPECTRUM AND THEIR MOTHERS

People just need to use their local cable company for internet only.  Then get Hulu Live for $74.99 per month.  Includes all of your expected live tv channel, including all the ESPN's, Big Ten, SEC, FOX sports, and more.  Also includes the app on your phone, so you can watch away from home.

Reading all these comments, I wonder why there isn't one service that offers everything a la carte, so you can put together the exact package that you want. And when I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING. Our Smart TV is insanely complicated, just trying to figure out what apps there are, having to download each one separately, then trying to figure out which shows are on which channels. There's only one show on Fubu, but we want to watch it so we have to get Fubu, etc....Or why isn't Marquee available? Everything Everywhere All At Once. That's how it should be.

Cut the cord

Watch all your Michigan games on Sportsurge.net for free.

Then go buy some German beer, ribeyes and packs of Lucky Strikes with your savings.

Throw the rest into QQQ and some S&P500 etf via your brokerage account.

Come on get happy.

I literally cut the cord last night. I am stuck with xfinity for internet. But honestly I don't mind. They are by far the best option that I know of for internet. But I was turned off by their TV 185+ channels most of which I don't watch. And their bullshit games of "promo price but it expires in a year" and having to call them every time it is about to expire and having to beg for a new deal.

I went with Hulu. They have every channel I want except for Bally Sports Detroit, which I can subscribe to on my own if I want. I have not decided yet, leaning towards not. Why pay $14.99 per month when I barely ever watch Tigers / Pistons / Red Wings? Having said that I will keep this in mind and may add it later.

But Hulu has everything you could possibly want IMO. And I am getting a good price since I am bundling Hulu (no ads), Disney+ (no ads), ESPN+, and Hulu Live TV. All for $82.99 per month. A much better experience overall so far.

You are a catalyst for change, man.

I’m actually a Spectrum customer that had no idea this was happening until this post. I have since canceled my spectrum TV and switched to Hulu+.

I cut the cord thanks to you.

I hardly watch any TV anymore so there's no point in having any cable package at all, for me.

YTTV is OK but expensive for what you get.

There's plenty of free sites to stream from if your antivirus and adblockers are up to date ;)
