Who has the intel about where each team's ticket allocation will be inside Xcel Energy Center?

Can't wait - Go Blue

Totally agree we should dominate!  More specifically, I have part of my group awaiting their ticket allocation from the official Michigan allotment, and others looking to buy nearby on secondary market, hence the ask.

I got my email last night saying my request wasn't fulfilled. It also said they were only able to fill orders for requests with at least 794 priority points. I'm guessing all of the "no" emails went out yesterday and they're trying to sort out who gets what seats based on priority points today. If they didn't get a rejection last night they are probably getting tickets today.

I'm hoping the secondary market drops just a little bit more before I pull the trigger. As it is, it's not bad.

Edit: I also saw this on r/collegehockey for what it's worth.

OP asked a legitimate question and this thread is pretty much just drivel and snark.

Mgoblog used to be a repository of useful information.  This thread and your post is a waste of time

I went to the Frozen Four in 1997 in Milwaukee and my experience is that the fans of the host school dominate.

Michigan was playing Boston University in the semifinal.  North Dakota and Colorado College were the other teams.  No Wisconsin.  No schools in close driving distance.  We were the closest.

Most of the fans were wearing red.  I assume they were not BU fans.  They were Badger fans.  They were vociferously rooting against us because either (i) they hate us, or (ii) we were heavily favored.  I vote for (i).

Hopefully the Gopher fans do not hate us and they realize that Boston College is favored and we are the underdog.

I had a similar experience in Boston 2 years ago. Obviously a lot of fans of the teams involved but also a whole bunch of various Boston schools, Providence, Umass etc.. Granted this was Boston so it was a large melting pot of third party fans with many hockey schools fairly local.

Also kinda tracks with my own plans when Frozen Four was scheduled to be in Detroit. I had already bought tickets well before we would have determined which teams were going to be in it.

I have it on inside information, double secret squirrel, top secret: our Mgobrother, SRJK, will be at Thursday’s game. If true, Hopefully he will bless us with some photos from the game, as he has in the past.  Go blue!

Throwing this comment out into the ether mostly because I don't know where else to place it:

Any Rochester, MN area alumni/hockey fans making the trip up to the Frozen Four? Looking to carpool/save on gas money?

Not going, but word on the street is the students (despite protest to the ticket office) got shoved up to 207! Wouldn’t be surprised if the band does as well.
