I used to, still do, and probably always will think about getting laid as much as any other single topic.

This will be the first and only time I discuss it here.  To extend your logic, it would be pretty okay to loudly opine about jumping balls deep into some bar skank while standing in the middle of a busy day care.  Time and a place.  Creepy is about context.  The context of this declaration is very much creepy.

First, yes, being in Bolivia is liberating and quite underrated. I can troll as hard as I want without worrying about points. (Ironically, I get upvoted more than ever now).

Second, I was mostly joking but you know damn well that HS football players sliding up into the guts of some slut to bust a nut on recruiting trips has factored heavily into February faxed LOIs across college football for decades.

I really don't like this... I mean, the 2009-2010 OL Recruiting Plan was to have ZERO seniors for the next two years and this would ruin everything

Glasgow was the best interior lineman we had last year.  Forget about the damn stars.  Unless Bosch Kalis made quantum leaps if this staff is about performance rather than stars he would be shifted to guard and Bosch or Kalis is the backup.  Having 2 upperclassmen gets thrown out the window if you bench him.

I agree that Glasgow was our best interior OL last fall, but it certainly isn't out of the realm of possibility for a guy like Bosch to improve quite in one year considering his age.  I think it's a good problem to have if Glasgow, Bosch and Kalis are fighting over two spots.  It also wouldn't be the end of the world for the interior OL to be Bosch-Lindsay-Kalis with Glasgow being the back-up for all three spots.

It wouldn't ....but having 2 guys who can drink legally on the OL would be nice.  Bosch and Kalis both were benched for performance, Bosch completely (Magnuson took over)...Kalis returned late.  Last year was unfair to him in terms of throwing a true freshman out there.

In terms of Glasgow v Bosch...  Glasgow was not benched so I think people still are colored by stars - the thinking is a true sophomore who was benched and looked overwhelmed will / should  make a leap over a player who took a job away from Miller and is an upperclassmen and has more experience and played better last year.

If you just put those 2 resumes side by side that I described above and removed the stars and names you'd be asking for a lot for Bosch to move ahead of Glasgow.  I am sure Glasgow also improved over the winter/spring just as Bosch or Kalis did.

But yes bigger picture more competition is better.

It's not a "OMG!!! Only Start 5-stars" thing.   It's the expectation that a true freshman who started a hand-full of games will improve in his Sophomore year, combined, with a returning starter who will not be starting due to a suspension.   It's an "opportunity to prove yourself" thing.

So, even if Glasgow is the No. 1 guard after fall camp... he's won't start on 8/30.  He's watching Bosch and Kalis start and if they play well, he may be the No. 3 option at guard.

But as others are noting.. having a Soph., RSoph, and RJr. all worthy of staring at Guard would be a great problem to have.

The only way I see us not taking him is if Hoke and Company are 100% sure they dont need him (which I doubt) but if he is willing and from what I see we are in need then make it happend and move Glassgow to G and get Kulger the 2 deep reps and C

but every football player still gets in unless they are really academically challenged. I can only recall a very small handfull of recruits ever being turned down (Demar Dorsey, Adrian Witty...). A guy who just graduated from the University of Alabama and wants to come here is going to get in. 100%

That his application has already been pre-processed before he steps on campus.  I would be willing to bet that he would have needed to be cleared/accepted academically first and then if he is accepted (his visit me thinks means that hurdle has been cleared) he visits.  Alas if he enjoys and sees benefit he signs on.   Educated guess on my part so I could be wrong but not likely seeing as how he is coming tonight/tomorrow.

Just an aside I am going on a date with my wife for her birthday with our 8 week old son.  Then hopefully meeting up with our good friends who has some KBS ready and waiting!  So I am pretty pumped for a great weekend!
