First time Michigan won 2 in a row by multiple scores since 1947-1948
As the title says, this is the first time Michigan has won 2 in a row against OSU by multiple scores since 1947-1948.
Felt like this was a noteworthy enough stat to create a board topic. Obviously everyone is ecstatic about the outcome yesterday but this makes it feel even more special. And we did it without our Heisman candidate/best player.

'47-'48, those were some heady times...we might be on to another 'Golden Age' of Michigan football!

Let’s hope the program doesn’t take the same trajectory that it did after 1948: a gradual slide into also-ran status and irrelevance.
*Edit: I totally fucked up the point I was trying to make: in no way do I think “also-ran status” is on the horizon for the program. To the contrary—I think the program is in much better shape than it was in 1948, and I believe history bears that out.

Despite the notable achievement, this is somewhat depressing, given the numerous recent drubbings the other way. But, the more important question is: When is the last time we won 3 consecutive against them by double digits?! Just looking ahead.

1946-48. But the last time we won by 15 or more three times in a row was 1903-05, before the forward pass was legalized.

I only hope this will shut up all those commenters who, only a few years ago, were screaming about the structural advantages Ohio State had, and how we're simply unable to compete with them, and how unfair everything was.
It's the same dynamic Bo brought with him: Stop complaining about the disadvantages, start paying attention to the advantages, and most importantly win ... the ... game.
So much whining about how other teams cheat, or the referees hate us, or ... whatever. Nice to see Harbaugh keep the team focused on the task at hand, control what you can control, and win.

I like Michigan making it 3 in a row next year at the Big House.
