In my opinion Michigan should be 2, but ranked 3 seems like a very reasonable and straight forward selection. 4 seems like a stretch and poor decision, 5 or higher absurd either unreasonably biased or stupid. I wonder if there's any prodical for removing a coach from poll?

Lots of haters eating hater-tots.

It is worth remembering that Fitz and Northwestern went 1-11. That guy has no idea what a good team looks like.

Pat Narduzzi’s ballot is epically out of whack. Also really surprised by Fitz’s ballot. Pretty slimy, but I think there is more than a little academic rivalry factoring in there as the last place to hang their hat coming through as frustration because Northwestern has been so terrible the last three years. By the looks of it there are a lot of coaches with not much love for Michigan based on the number of votes for Ohio and Bama ahead of us. To heck with them also.

Futher evidence that Nebraska shouldn't have a claim to the 1997 national championship.

Nebraska barely won the Coaches Poll anyway. Nebraska had 32 first place votes and 1520 total points. Michigan had 30 first place votes and 1516 total points.

Every coach has their agenda.

Witness Cincinnati.  The Bearcats, frankly, do not deserve to be ranked at all this year.  But they did get 3 points.  Their former coach (as a goodwill gesture) voted them 25th and their new coach voted them 24th!
