Early discussion thread on tonight's College WS final

Submitted by BeatOSU52 on June 24th, 2019 at 2:59 PM

With just over 4 hours to go until Michigan plays its biggest baseball game since 1962, I thought there should be a thread to get some buzz going.

Some possible discussion points to start:

1)  Who is in Omaha now and how's it going?

2)  Vegas line currently (per Bovada):    Vandy is a -190 favorite over Michigan +165

3)  Anyone seen Vandy's SP going Drake Fellows pitch enough to give a break-down of him?

TD Ameritrade’s ticket office was damn near sold out as of 11:00 am. That’s not typical from what I been told.

Michigan fans have taken over Omaha.

Hoping Henry pitches another gem because this series is going to be tough. I’ve got faith in our boys and Coach Bakich though. Go Blue!

Michigan Baseball twitter just posted the starting lineup, everything looks normal and they have Henry listed as the starter tonight.

We are big underdogs to win this series.  It would be fucking huge for a B1G team to win the CWS.  We beat defending champ Oregon St and then #1 UCLA to get here.  We are 3-0 in Omaha.  Might as well go ahead and win the whole damn thing now.  Pitching and defense - let's go boys!

The best thing going for our Wolverines is that we're playing with house money. No one expected us to be here, and none of the experts expect us to win. We can play loose and free, all the pressure is on Vanderbilt. Imagine how that pressure will intensify if Michigan starts quickly by scoring runs in the early innings, like they have all tournament? Remember how tight UCLA played, and the mistakes that pressure induced from them?

Michigan has momentum, confidence, and the freedom to play to win instead of to 'not lose'.
