Day to OU?

Why not OU needs a young coach and OU would give him a big raise and supposedly according to the so called experts the SEC is the best conference.

I have family in Norman and from what their saying, OU is interested in Day.

OU has no more chance of recruiting Day away from OSU then they would if they went after Saban at Bama or Belichick at New England.  They couldn't even hold on to Lincoln Riley, and while the mouth breathing crowd in Columbus are pissed off about losing to us now, Day has been every bit as good as Urban or Sweater Vest.  CFB coaches have crazy personalities and egos, so you can't rule out Day wanting to get a shot on the big (NFL) stage, but he isn't going to Norman.

Why not

Because OSU is a way better job.  I hate to say it, but OSU might be the best job in CFB.  Culture for winning...check.  Administration on board with winning...check.  Blue blood...check.  Facilities...check.  Revenue & assistant salaries...check.  In state talent...check.  No other P5 team in your state...check.  They have one of the best built in advantages in all of CFB.

Just stop. Days got a juggernaut that walked into a buzzsaw and all the resources a coach could need. This loss is on him for letting his team feel entitled. They ate caviar for their team meal and Harbaugh had our guys in cages throwing them raw meat. OSU needs to toughen up but they aren’t goin anywhere and neither is Day. I’m enjoying the win for sure but you can bet next year is on.

This OP is ridiculous.  Day would never leave OSU for OU nor should he.  OU is a step down big time.  You can’t win every year.  But you need an engine that gets you the opportunity every year.  He has that in OSU.
