He is showing why he was a 5 star today. Great blitz and hitting Mertz out of game w/o coming in too high to draw a targeting foul.
And the pick was like seeing something Don Brown never seemed to understand - drop back and let the QB throw right into coverage.

A "lights out" talent. Can you imagine this secondary without Dax back there!!!
Mertz threw two passes into a 6 inch window. If there was an error at the end of the first half it was that there was any time left on the clock. The offense should have had that clock run down inside of ten seconds.

This kid has been solid his whole career but now is dominant in his play. Very impressive young man.
