David Pollack: Michigan Doesn't have Enough Dynamic Offensive Weapons to Beat Alabama

Submitted by MGoVoldemort on

This morning on Mike&Mike, David Pollack, in discussing the upcoming CFP rankings, was asked which team could theoretically beat Alabama. His reponse when it came to Michigan's chances, was that they did not have enough dynamic threats on offense to challenge Alabama. This seems like extreme SEC based logic, and sounds very much like a man who hasn't spent a lot of time watching Michigan play this year. I'm not going to say we can beat Alabama quite yet, but to say that we don't have the weapons to do so is absurd.

This guy just doesn't know does he lol. Having enough playmakers is the least of my worries. Running the ball against a good front and stopping big plays on defense and edge contain are the only things holding this team back from being the best team in the country. We have one of the top receiving core in the country and Speight is playing like a future NFL qb. This guy needs to do some research.

I think our defensive backfield would dominate Bama with multiple coverage sacks and interceptions freeing Dr. Blitz to have his way with Kiffen.

Howard Cosell said a lot of things but one of the few things he did get right was the notion that games are won on the field and not over the airwaves or in columns ... "....that is why they play the games."

If it could be settled without playing they would.

Pollack is a douche bag.

I commented on another thread. He said Jabrill Peppers wasn't in his top 5 for the heisman.

What an idiot. Guy shouldn't report for college football when your an idiot.

This is how it begins. First you discuss how someone can't beat you. Then you move onto how it's a pretty even matchup. Finally you start asking yourself how you could ever stop such an offense.
