Its a bizarro move to be honest.
They just extended him. He just took Florda to the SEC championship game in his Third year (last year)... Mandel tweeted that his .624 winning %, including this shit year, is the third best winning percentage in Florida history since 1924.
Makes you wonder if something else is happening behind the scenes there...

Bill C tweeted out his updated SP+ numbers and Michigan is 4th. But he also added the caveat that it’s a typical Harbaugh season in that they’ve been really, really good and are still way behind Ohio State (mostly because that offense is off the charts).
I really hope MacDonald has something up his sleeve.

There may be only 2 teams that could stay with Ohio State - Alabama and Georgia.
Lucky us.
So I don't think OSU can be the measuring stick at this point.
Let's climb the Penn State, Wisconsin, MSU mountain first. We are two thirds of the way on that front.

Not even sure Alabama could this year as I've watched them a few times and they just don't look like the Bama of old. And since we're talking about Alabama, Georgia, and OSU, it just goes to show that it comes down to recruiting first as those are the top 3 teams on the 2021 Team Composite rankings based on roster recruiting rankings. Those 3 are comfortably ahead of everyone else:

Actually, it comes at you maybe fast (not sure), but then for sure slow, then medium, then fast, then way too fast, then maybe really slow or really fast, not sure again at that point.
