Is it wrong to want the (likely dirty) recently dominant program to win big in this marquee game?

....

....

1) Brian Kelly is an ass and has been since at least GVSU.

2) To hell with Notre Dame.

Just saw the College Gameday preview for the Harbaugh interview, might have to skip watching that one. No need to ruin a beautiful day, I'll do that later when watching the game.

Harbaugh looks like a different guy from the one that started 6 years ago. Homeboy has aged like a president and it’s easy to see why...even if he’s caused the extra stress on himself.

That’s all subjective nonsense and I get it but hell you wonder if he’s even enjoying it anymore.

again, I know that’s all subjective conjecture that may well not play into anything involving results in the field.

The problem is that Harbaugh has been too slow to adapt to the college game.

In the NFL, they are all "5-stars".  And the biggest difference: your best "5-stars" don't leave after 3 years, they stay for a decade.

College is completely different game.  It's akin to coaching kids' Soccer . . . forget your World Cup schemes, you have to adapt to what they can do.  They will never adapt to you.

Never forget: 45 years ago the Edmund Fitzgerald went down. Listening to the Headstones cover of Gordon Lightfoot's gem with gameday on in the background.

Side note: subtle sign, Desmond.

I’ll never forget that day.  I grew up in the Soo and was at basketball practice when the 75mph winds hit.  Enormous trees blocking all the streets, the downtown shopping stores all had their windows blown out.  It was dark as night at 4pm.  My best friends dad came to pick us up and we had to weave all over the place to get home.  I can’t imagine being on a boat in Lake Superior during that.
