For someone who likes to complain and constantly point out the problems. I would sure love to hear your solutions. How would you improve recruiting? Who would you hire to fix it? What would you change to fix it? Who would you hire to beat OSU? Do you have any valid ideas to get better in all of these areas you agonize over constantly?

I would definitely say a less than thrilling start to the 20 recruiting class.

ironically, OSU just took a grad-transfer from Rutgers on OL that was ranked 1700ish in 2015

All this talk about low OL rankings, yet in last years Pro Bowl, according to this article the average star ranking for all OL in the game was a paltry 2.4 stars. The best OL today is arguably Joe Thomas, he was the 18th ranked OL in his class. The guys before him never played in the NFL.

Interesting stuff. Kind of confirms the lack of projectability of olineman being thrown around

Please don’t use facts some posters know more than our whole coaching staff! One thing you have to give our daily troll/know-it-all poster is that he’d definitely crack the top 100 in 5* territory for worst human being on the planet earth!

I don’t know what this thread is all about but anyway... I’m all about this fall. C’mon Spring Game and bring on football. ESPN had us at #5 last week. Not sure I believe that but I can’t wait til fall. I like B-ball but... love football. Go Blue!

I think that was the basketball ranking pre-MSU.

For Jim to break through in recruiting, he will have to win more big games, beat OSU, win the B1G and make the playoffs. I think back to 2016 and if we would have beaten OSU (like we should have), made the playoffs this team would be leaps and bounds ahead of where it is now. I still think if Jim keeps getting those #10 to # 5 recruiting classes, the depth and talent will reach a point where Jim will start winning B1G titles every 3 years or so years.
