Black Friday Purchase Reminder: Give Brian Cook Money

Submitted by ryebreadboy on

Just a reminder, for those who have forgotten the link at the top of the page, or use the app exclusively, that you can link to Amazon through MGoBlog and a good portion (I think Seth said around 10%) of your purchase gets funneled back to the folks bringing you Michigan-related holiday joy.

If you're going to spend the money anyway (or if you weren't, but are now so inclined), may as well make sure some of the money goes to support something you love. This is also a good option for those who can't swing the beveled guilt but want to help out the blog.

[I realize it's not Black Friday yet, but Amazon and most other websites have their deals up already, and people will need a distraction from the Lions, so I figured an early PSA was warranted.]

Direct link for those on the app or too lazy to scroll up: here

I think the point is that we should remember that MGoBlog is an unbelievable site for the price ($0.00) so during our time of thankfulness, let's be thankful to our dear leader and his democratic peoples republic of michigan and possibly throw some cash his way

So, a couple assumptions here. Most of the readership is male. This is sexist, but in my family, my wife still does a lot of the gift buying. And uses Amazon. She never uses mgoblog. In this instance, I will point out the link to her. My point:  if you are a male, and have a significant other who uses Amazon, now would be the time to point out the link.

Brian Cook? More like Brian Cock. Am inI right?

That made no sense. I don't really know where I was going with that. More just wanted to type Brian Cock. He probably heard that a lot in middle school. Really his is a pointless post. I should probably just delete this now.

I'm going to hit post anyway though. Happy Thanksgiving!

Chadtough is where all our family's charity is going this year.  That family has been through hell and I think most if not all of us have been affected by cancer directly or through a family member or friend.

There are some brilliant minds out there working in stem cell research, biotechnology, etc.  It's time we put an end to this brutal disease.
