Robinson and McGary are more likely to be here as juniors than Austin Hatch is to be here on a basketball scholarship and not a medical hardship.

Counting McGary and Robinson on board (which they probably won't be but injuries and sophomore regressions can happen), there is one scholarship left in this class.

2014 - 2: Doyle, Chatman

2013 - 3: Walton, Irvin, Donnal

2012 - 5: Stauskas, Albrecht, LeVert, Robinson* and McGary*

2011 - 1: Biefeldt

2010 - 1: Horford

but my brother in law is a coach for a big east team and he texted me last night that our message boards may "light up tonight" but didn't want to ruin the surprise.

FWIW, he told me bluiett was a ucla lock well before he committed.

Pre-submit edit, I just texted him and he said Blackmon wasn't the surprise...he says tune in tonight around 6 pm.

If we get Blackmon, damn. That's 3 top notch classes in a row with us looking good on quite a few 2015 prospects (plus our ability to find sleepers/be on guys before everybody else ie McGary, GRIII, Chatman etc). Michigan basketball looks here to stay (not that I doubted that before, but this looks like verification to me).

Maybe Jalen Brunson?  Although that's based on zilch other than no 2014 guys seems to fit and good-but-no-insider vibes on his recruitment.  After all, his dad was an NBA player -- those guys tend to mesh with our staff.  Plus, Illinois got a top 2014 PG and they were thought to be our major competition.  Just to add total internet speculation to unverified speculation, though I hope it's all true.
