They need to move this to campus. Have it over two weekends. The first would be best of 3 - 1 vs 6, 2 vs 5 and 3 vs 4. The next weekend reseed and have 2 vs 3 on Thursday (or Wednesday if you want to avoid march madness) with a final on Saturday.

As much as I'd love to see schools host playoff series, the B1G will NEVER force OSU to alter their arrangement at the world famous Value City Arena..... even though we know they don't even care about hockey.

Plus there was that year in the late CCHA era when OSU double-booked Value City (state wrestling finals?) and had to play a conference tournament weekend series at their old rink--which was less than ideal for all involved. They basically can't do anything unless it's at Value City.

There was a better crowd at an ACHA Nationals game two weeks ago between Syracuse and Stony Brook, in Chicago, by O'Hare, during rush hour. Not even kidding.

The organizers of this tournament are such idiots. The basketball tournament is THE event this time of year. Most people are not going to attend this hockey tournament.

How do you combat this problem ? 3 game series at the better seed ? this is an embarrassment, , move up the start of hockey a couple weeks so it does not interfere with the ncaa mens tourney to give ncaa hockey more shine.
