OSU gets two 5 stars in one day and we proceed to lose two of our most highly rated recruits of the next two years?

When will the football gods decide to stop taking shits all over us?

Sorry man. I know at the end of the day it's only a damn game, but hasn't it seemed like everything has broken absolutely perfectly for them over the last 15-20 years?

Everyone is due for a downside at some point. It's the nature of the universe. But the universe is certainly taking its sweet ass time with bringing those guys some hard times that everyone, from Michigan to ND to Alabama to Texas, has had to endure.

When we get Harbaugh? Or the #1 recruit in the country?

Last year's class Harbaugh batted about as close to 1000 as you'll ever see. Getting elite talent out of SEC is tough and these things are expected. We will be just fine and win more than we lose.

Sounds like this bbq thank-you note thing was an innocent mistake by someone assigned to send cards.  They're likely using it as an excuse for something that was coming anyway.

I suppose if we think teenagers would commit because of shoes, then we shouldn't be surprised if a teenager decommits because of typos. *shrugs*. Moves on with life.

.. at his high school, because... Aubrey Solomon and Otis Reese.  Doubt his presence went unnoticed with the coaching staff at the BBQ.  It's pretty logical to think this was a clerical error, and unfortunately, a big one... although I don't buy that this was the last straw, but rather a convenient excuse to pull the trigger on a decommitment that's been coming.

These things being blown out of proportion (when in most other circumstances, something like this would be treated for what it is, an honest clerical mistake), speaks to the pressure these kids are under.  This kind of stuff gets put out there to minimize the social media backlash, etc, and unfortunately makes the program look bad in the process.  Just wish kids would say they like another school more, that alone is reason enough, and honestly these kids shouldn't feel they need to justify these decisions anyway.

It's hard to believe that so many people dropped the ball this bad. I know shit happens but this is extremely sloppy. Unless this was attempt on JH to find out if soloman was in fact all in. Numbers are tight and we have a lot of top targets left.

Sounds like he'll be a UGA commit.  Committed to UM without his mom present?  Pretty sure she didn't take that well.  Betting the "letter" is just his perfect excuse to decommit.

It has been two months since four-star Aubrey Solomon (Leesburg, Ga./Lee County) committed to Michigan during his unofficial visit. The news came as a surprise to many at the time, including Solomon's mother, who was not with the 6-foot-3, 305-pound defensive lineman at the time.

Solomon and his mother told Dawgs247 last week that the Bulldogs have remained in constant communication since the Wolverines had Aubrey on campus.

"We've continued to build a better relationship," Solomon said.

"I have not mapped it out yet, but I plan on visiting them a lot," Solomon said.

Commits do re-commit (see Hunter Rison at MSU)

If he needs to be closer to home and is more comfortable there they he should stay.

Needs to do what is best for him.

We'll be ok.

He'll be ok.

Step away from the ledge.

I want to know FOR SURE this came out of the Michigan camp and was not sent by another school as a negative recruiting tool. By rule, UofM can't come out and address the exact situation to the public, but a cryptic JH tweet just might.

Good for him. I'm sure it was awful and offensive to receive that letter. I mean getting an incorrect form letter. In. The. Mail.

Maybe Harbaugh should fire and blacklist the person/ persons responsible and personally beg Solomon for forgiveness. Maybe he should name his next kid Aubrey a an olive branch.
