Word is they are still trying to get him back.

No worries.
We're moving Kenneth Grant to corner.

After watching him chase down that RB in the Penn St game, why not lol.

disappointing news.
seemed like Amorion would have been right there for the battle for CB2 next year...
best of luck to the kid though

I do wonder if we might see one or two guys enter the portal and then decide to come back.
The grass isn't always greener elsewhere and the bags aren't always fatter.

Well, this is crappy. I kinda get it, he couldn't get on the field this year and will be behind a couple others next year. But maybe give yourself a chance to compete for a defense you know will be swapping players regularly each game.
Sure, I guess he probably would have been a starring piece at ND this year. But he wouldn't have sniffed a National Championship, either...

Shoulda kept him on offense, never seemed to come close to being playable on defense. It always seemed like a pipe dream that he'd turn into a stud corner for us, I think we have a lot of young dbs that are more likely to pan out. Still sad he left though!

I'm not worried about losing Walker, if he was good enough to play more he would have. Good luck to him unless we face him.
Our WR room will be fine as well.
People need to stop being worry warts.

Maybe the prospect I was most excited about -- a tall, speedy receiver. Very disappointing. I don't know what the hell went south there.

Can we get Denzel Burke to replace him???????????????
/Too soon?

Damn. I had him as a WR next year and I think that's what he does at his next stop.
Freak athlete that I would bet does damage at the right program.

The staffs plan was to move him back to receiver in the spring and make him a two way player. We’ll see if they can convince him to stick around

Well, certainly better as a champion for life than a champion of life😅. Too soon?

Not a surprise. He's a Louisiana kid and I am sure the transition to Michigan can be jarring especially if things on the field aren't quite going the way you want them to. Homesickness can be rough, especially in the late teens/early twenties.
Looks like he did what was asked of him and got a national championship to boot. If he wants to go somewhere closer to home where there's a more sure path to the field more power to him.
