If your read through these comments it is sad. A top ten UofM team vs a top 15 team and you would think Red needs to be fired and we suck etc. I spent many hours on the ice with Red and he knows hockey. Better than anyone on here armchair quarterbacking that is for sure. Teams play the game not coaches. Talent needs to perform. This is a good team who lost some great players last year and is performing well. Top 10 well. Ease up and show some respect.

Need some work on D but they are a good team. It is just funny how from goal to goal in the thread above how some folks react. I guess I love to love the team. And others love to hate the team they love as the tshirt says. Unless they win then people start posting backtracking comments. You know who you are if that is you.

We're seeing the same defensive play that we've seen since Mel Pearson left. So 5 years now. 

We're very fortunate the 5 other teams in the B1G can't keep up with us and are mostly utter shit.

Michigan has scored 6 goals or more against every B1G team at least once this season.

Think about that.

As I said before D needs to do better. I also do not think you PLAYED hockey on a high enough level to judge. Especially Red. He was doing big things in hockey before you were born. He is also the coach for now of the team you love. If he was so bad now because of age etc. Why would these kids come here instead of going the ohl route?

I have been on super talented teams who did not click. Egos different skill sets and other reasons why. I have also been on semi talented teams who won championships and would run through a wall for each other like brothers. Coaches can coach people up but it is up to the group to work well together regardless of talent. Unless you were the Wings in the Hull Shannahan Yzerman etc. years. Then you were just too skilled to lose.

I'm usually thumbs down on neutral site sports events but MSG was pretty good. Crowd was good. There were more of them than there were of us but more than enough of us to be heard. And we didn't have to give up a game at Yost.

My first M hockey game. I've played at Yost many times but have never been to a game. Tons O fun! I kept telling my friend, pay attention when you see the line with 7 and 18. They delivered.

Finally watched the game just now. Why was that PSU player not ejected for that hit? They didn't even review it and just called it a major? Thought leaving your feet and leading with the elbow was a dq?

Hope he sits for at least 3 games.
