Pretty similar to the helmet poster of 2011. That was a pretty good year. Let's hope this one is just as good.

I have seen people on the board kill people who express such a position...calling it very "Michigan State'ish".  I for one would rather go 12-0 with wins against everyone, but with the way the last 15 years has been, yeah I would take a whole lot of losses and a solid win against OSU.

Assuming earnestness:

I'm curious how many fans of your type exist. No one can speak for a fan base, but we can all guess about one. And I've been estimating that a cool 50-80% of Michigan fans would prefer a Big Ten championship, CFP-bid season, 12-1/13-1/13-2 season with one OSU loss to perhaps any Michigan season since 1997.

Perhaps I'm desensitized to OSU losses. Perhaps the Big Ten/CFP stakes have shifted the equation. But, for me, I don't think it's either. I think I've always far preferred Championships to OSU wins. Someone is a femto-moment from acknowledging that one of these usually implies the other. But they are technically separable. And an OSU win ranks lower to me than any kind of season championship.

Now ... not everyone will agree. My vague sense is that alumni are somewhat more likely to agree and M fans residing in Ohio are somewhat less likely to agree. I guess that means I'm predicting non-alumni living in Ohio are least likely to agree.
