Our offense, for all intents and purposes, held Toledo to 3 points. If that interception had not been thrown, the game becomes a 17-3 game. 17 points from such a young and inexperienced offense without its best receiver sound pretty good to me.
The point made by the original post is that these things take time. I think his point is extremely valid. I think it is extremely possible that we go 5-0 or 4-1 over our last 5 games. I don't think any of them will be gimmes like we thought they might be at the beginning of the season, but MSU, Purdue, Minnesota, Northwestern, and OSU (Somewhat) are winnable games.
Take away some turnovers and injuries and we look like a weak 4-2 team instead of 2-4. Don't be so sure that RR isn't getting his message across already.

You're right, we're in a much better position than USC. I mean, look at how experienced and mature our offense is! And my god those linebackers, I can't wait till they get drafted by the Bengals me bring home a super bowl!
The fact is, we may have the worst offense collectively that Michigan has had in decades, and the defense has some obvious holes too. This doesn't excuse the loss, but the USC parallel seems quite reasonable to me. And if you don't like that, look at Tressel's first year, or Ron Zook's first year at Illinois, or Saban's first yeah at Alabama, or hell RR's first year at WV. Transitions are hard. Get over it.
