I will admit I was wrong about Brooks. I dont think I ever talked trash about him per se, but in my mind I had written him off as a role player. Hes clearly a Big Ten caliber worthy starter

Even if they would have lost this game in a hard fought battle I just love this group. Just seems like a bunch of tough ass young men with an underdog mentality who just play their asses off.

Love Juwan as our coach. Seems like a phenomenal dude and he loves Michigan. Hope he and Harbaugh can stick around for a long time.

I really think this Michigan team could make a deep run in the tournament.
- Most college hoops teams are full of freshman; it's rare for a team to have as much experience as we do, especially in key positions like PG and C, where it usually takes time to develop.
- We're so deep! I love that Coach Howard is playing so many guys, and the bench gang seem so much more confident and free this year. There's not a place on the floor where we have no depth. Quick whistles or even injuries should not derail this team.
- Wagner is just getting his feet wet. He's probably going to be a much better player come tournament time - and he provides that extra deadly shooter that this team really needs.
- Before the season, it seemed like we were lacking offensive weapons. Suddenly it appears we have dangerous weapons all over the floor - Teske, Livers, Brooks, DDJ, Wagner - and even Castleton and Johns can score. Simpson is still adapting to the new style, but he's a great distributor, and he can make some clutch hoops too.
- Howard seems to have a great plan and system, and the players are really responding. And he's not afraid to let his very experienced assistants (especially wize old owl Martelli) contribute.
There are sure to be some bad games, but if this team keeps developing they could be a VERY tough out come tournament time!
