M makes Lamar Dawson's final 7
Dawsons down to seven and we're included. Hope we can get him on campus.

Wouldn't that be great to get a guy like him. I hope we can get him on campus for a visit also.

I think we have a pretty good chance of getting him for an official, if the top 7 is legit. He's from Kentucky, and two of his seven are UK and Louisville, presumably campuses he's seen a handful of times already. If he was smart, he'd take his 5 officials to the 5 out of state schools on his list, and visit the other two on his own.
So, I like our odds of getting him on campus. Continuing to win will help. That Iowa game is looking like it could be pretty hyped.

With our program back on the rise (cross fingers) perhaps it's not such a bad thing that some of these players are leaving or transferring. I think Michigan is turning into a very hot team for big time prospects. Combine history/prestige with success on the field with potential immediate PT, i wonder whether we are in for a rush of big time commitments. The more scholarships, the merrier.
In fact, I'm even wondering if the staff regrets throwing out so many of these offers so early to marginal guys. Of course, hard to predict how things will turn out.

I'm really excited about Kellen Jones out of Texas, grabbing another LB like Lamar would really give us some solid depth at that position going forward. Getting him on campus would go a long way on getting him to sign on the dotted line.

Much more encouraging than losing them! Come on, Lamar!
