"The Harpening", about a renowned football player who learns to play a large, stringed instrument and joins an orchestra.

The Denardening?
Not sure who came up with it first. Brian should jump on it.

I almost made it The Denardening; I saw someone use that word somewhere on the Board. If it gets pulled from YouTube, I vow to make another.

Sorry for attributing the work to Brian in my comment.
Nicely done, mdoc.

This had BETTER not force its removal from the interwebs.

I imagine he would be quite honored to receive a cease & desist order (as would I be were it my creation). Regardless, props to him for the video.

The legend grows. I can't wait to see them play it on SC during gameday.

Dear Mdoc,
We the actors, writers and production staff of the 2008 film, The Happening, are writing to request that you immediately remove your Michgian football themed spoof of our movie from Youtube and MGoBlog. It's been 3 long years but we had collectively managed to forget that we worked on this movie or that the movie even existed. The appearence of your video on the internet has brought back many distrubing and unwanted memories of our time working with M. Night on this nonsensical piece of garbage. How do you make an audience scared of the trees and the wind? Seriously. As we all go forward with our careers we want to be disassociated with this film as much as possible. Please remove your video and let us never speak of The Crappening again.
Cordially,
The cast and crew of the worst movie of the last 10 years.

However, any movie with Zooey Deschanel in it cannot possibly be the worst movie. She at least provides some good scenery.

She's one of those actresses I find myself incredibly attracted to, but can't explain exactly why.
September 17th, 2010 at 4:10 PM ^
1) Her looks aren't intimidating, just above average. She seems attainable.
2) She's off-beat, so she's interesting. (although not so much If you live in Williamsburg, Brooklyn where every girl looks like Zooey Deschanel or better).
3) She's famous, so the mental reconcilliation of her seeming attainable with the fact that she's really not adds extra intrigue.
4) With most famous girls itching to show skin to add to their popularity, Zooey's contradictory and keeps covered in hipsterish peasant-like outfits. You have to know what's going on under there, and given how weird she is, you can't conclude if she's a thong/bikini/briefs girl automatically. (I'd guess something frilly, but who knows? As far as Zooey lets on, she's probably in bloomers.) You have no idea, and that also intrigues you.
5) For some inexplicable reason, it seems like she can bake well. I've discussed this with friends, and it's a legitimate vibe certain girls let off. The pie/chocolate chip cookie vibe. An absolute x-factor and Zooey's got it.
Conclusion: you want to eat Zooey Deschanel's pie.

For me, it's the eyes. I don't think I've ever seen bigger, brighter, bluer eyes in my life. Plus, she can sing. And I felt like 500 Days of Summer was sort of the story of my life, chasing the wrong women, and just like in my life, I honestly thought she would turn out to be the right one. Yeah, probably too much info, but what can I say.

I don't know what to say... I guess I'll retire to my couch and wait patiently for angry emails. Anyone know anything about parody laws?

fair use!

Mdoc, you my friend, are above the law

Rittenburg always steals information from this site, at least he gives Brian his props though. Most other people that steal info from here use it as their own.
