Committed to the University of Michigan. Thank you to all the coaches that extended offers. #GoBlue pic.twitter.com/OfP36YAr9C

Stewart got his Michigan offer during the big recruiting weekend a few weeks ago. He had offers from BC, Texas A&M, Zona, and just recently picked up a TCU offer after visiting the two Texas schools last week. Notre Dame was also fishing around. He’s a three star to 247, an unranked 2-star to Rivals, and doesn’t exist on ESPN because Connecticut offensive lineman.

and camp this summer at the Opening and Rivals. He needs to show the coaches he means business and can compete with D-1 caliber recruits. Plus, it makes him a better player for his senior year when his stars could take an even bigger jump from better film and in-person scouting evaluations.

He looks the part already. Just get that boy into the football nutrition and conditioning program for at least one year, and then let him out of his cage to see what he can do...
Thanks! I enjoy these write-ups becasue they give something to read in the dead season and are intelligent. As acknowledged, this evaluation is based on the flimsiest of flimsiest of evidence. At 6 foot 5 inches at age 16--if I understand correctly--he may not be done growing in height, weight, etc. I'd be interested in his arm lengths when it becomes available. Both physical and football skills, including quickness and footspeed, can be improved greatly through hard work, discipline, and good coaching in unbelievable ways, especially if you are "coming from nowhere." The fact that Yale offered him a scholarship gives some hope that he as these latter characteristics. Welcome young man!
