OT: DJ Wilson M Jordans on eBay
So I had a quick look over at eBay hoping to find a pair of the Jordan 5 Michigan PE’s, no such luck. But what I did find was a couple pairs of DJ Wilsons B1G tournament shoes. Looks like someone is offloading a few pairs of his M worn shoes, including some shower sandals.
Christmas is coming and I know some of you like the 31 PE’s they were wearing last year. So if you’re a size 17, this is your chance.

A market for worn basketball shoes, from players other than All stars? Haveing asked this, I wouldn't buy anyones worn apparel, outside of a jersey that can be put in a frame to hang on the wall.

The shoes are size 17 and probably dont smell to great so I suppose there is a market for people who really like random NBA players and have a foot fetish?

the XXI's are unworn. But I can see a collector grabbing the shoes he wore in the B1G tournament and throwing them in a display case. That was a pretty special run

I was at a Tom Waits show a few years ago, and he told a story about strange things he bought on eBay. His ultimate exemplar of odd items for sale was "Thomas Edison's dying breath" caught in a bottle stoppered with a cork.
The the eBay breath thing has been around for a while (to the extent you find Tom Waits - or me, for that matter - a reliable narrator).

Uh... The vial with Thomas Edison's last breath is on display at the Henry Ford Museum... Unless there were more?

I wonder if the Henry Ford Museum bought it from eBay?
(Alternatively, it's interesting that there's a kernel of truth to Waits's story. Now if someone can just substantiate the "conception without intercourse" Civil War story he tells on the Big Time live album, I'd be much obliged.)

They had eBay back when you were a kid? Now I'm really confused!

Thomas Edison's kid was an eBay seller? It went directly from him to Henry Ford, and it was found in Ford's possessions after his death.

A foot above the baseboards and just FatHead the limbs and head.

There are plenty of WD's out there for all fan bases. So yes, there is a market for things like this

Hi WD!

your comment was meant to belittle WD because . . . reasons.
I guess I'm WD too then because I jump to his defense. If your response to anyone who disagrees with you is "dismiss" then you won't listen to reason.
Whatever man. Keep being annoying.

... big shoes. Come on folks, mind out of the gutter.
I won't be bidding, because I couldn't squeeze my feet in those tiny 17s.

I can't go for that. That is one of the few items, however. No shoes, no sandals, no hats, no underwear. Aside from that, I celebrate the Salvation Army's entire collection.

Buy them and wear thick socks!
November 9th, 2017 at 11:02 AM ^
Probably the idea would be to buy random crap from a lot of young NBA players and hope one of them hits big.
November 9th, 2017 at 11:11 AM ^
Shower sandals ? Really ?
I wouldn't even buy a pair worn by Michael Jordan himself.
