Normally I would say bring all the 5* QB's to town that we can get, but unless something changes having 6 scholarship quaterbacks seems highly unlikely next year.
A few weeks ago watching BP and Pep working together a lot and no sign of WS I was of the impression WS might be getting the friendly handshake at end of year. However seeing him back around and the amount of people who truly enjoy and respect him I'm beginning to think he's back next year and probably the starter.
1. He has the entire playbook at his disposal. (I expect BP to have it down by next spring, but if WS can go he's playing vs OSU IMO, anyone who thinks we can beat them or Wisky throwing 12 times a game is nuts)
2. Gives us the best chance to win. (going to get killed for this, but again IMO)
3. Coach is a very loyal guy and based on their relationship I just don't know if they would do WS like that.
2018
1.Speight
1a.Peters
3.Dmac
4.Doyle
5.Milton
Most people think Milton is best guess at position change, but maybe not. He's having a great year in Orlando and is a freak athlete who wants to be a great qb. Go Blue.

You didn't know? He is a black QB, that means he is automatically a freak athlete, also why Oliver Martin is destined to be the heir apparent at slot receiver.

That's not a positive. Yes, he's tall, wide-shouldered, and has a cannon for an arm. But his sub-50% completion percentage says something.
I think it's weird that people are so high on Milton because of the high ranking next to his name but were't impressed by Tyler Shough's tape (which looked far more impressive in my eyes) simply because Shough wasn't ranked highly.
Then they particiapted in the camp circuit this summer and Shough became a top-100 player.
Right now, Kevin Doyle hasn't gotten a lot of respect (with the exception of the occasional annecdotal thread) because he's 3 star but he's balling and putting up big stats in one of the best divisions of HS football in the country against a national schedule.

All those problems you listed can be corrected with practice and teaching. No matter how much Doyle may try to, he’ll never replicate Milton ability.

Uh, based on what? His cannon of a right arm?
This is the same kind of thinking that eventually gets a GM fired in the NFL.
Let me ask you, who do you think has more "natural ability" between Dylan McCaffrey and Joe Milton?
Now, let me ask you: who do you think is more likely to be a multi-year starter at Michigan?
You know who else had "natural ability" in spades?
Zach Gentry. 6'7", 230 pounds, cannon right arm, AND could run/scramble (i.e. be a consistent dual threat). He's now a TE for us with the chance to become the new Eric Kattus (taller Michigan TE from the 80s) with a chance to play on Sundays.

And that's how I know you should be ignored. Thank you for outing yourself so quickly.
He completed deep balls against UCF, Wisconsin, Rutgers, Illinois, Sparty, and Maryland before the injury at Iowa.

As a former scout, I watched games (and players) for a living. Thanks.
Speight had issues with deep balls but he completed a number of them in a majoirty of the games he played.

Hmm... 2016 Speight's stat lines against Hawaii, UCF, Penn State, Wisconsin, Rutgers, Illinois, Sparty, and Maryland say otherwise.
Btw, how many deep balls (i.e. completions of 25+ yards or more) has Brandon Peters completed so far? FYI: Those completions need to be passes that traveled at least 25+ yards in the air (which eliminates YAC-aided completions.
Please post video examples. Thanks in advance.
I look forward to your dazzling substantive response.

on Eason or Nauta. We will have a fine stable of QB's after this signing class. We already have a fine stable of TE's. Do we want transfers that are not working out at another school for reasons other than a coaching change? In most cases, no.
