Cowboy Outburst Muppets
Michigan gave up 51 points in the second half. Which is okay, because Michigan scored 51 points in the second half. If you have any idea what just happened please explain it to the rest of us. In the meantime...
And because the other has to keep going shot-for-shot with the one...
Man, with the way the Cowboys were raining in threes, the free throws were monumental.
Ice water flowing through Walton's veins at times. Ice cold.
Wilson's were clutch!
Wilson's were clutch!
Double clutch, some might say!
Do you want to say that again?
Wilson is blowing up. Shades of McGary here, except he has more range. If he keeps this up Michigan might be playing deep into next week and the NBA might be a legit possibility.
No, no, no, Wilson is a 5'9" forward, the rest is all hair. Lots and lots of hair.
Don't know what that was! Don't care! Great game, moving on.
Oklahoma State could have beaten just about anybody else if they played exectly the same they did here
2 mgopoints in 3 years. A tip of the hat to you!
Username should be spaRse walkr

Michigan BOMBED them out of the gym in the second half. Also, that was a 3-3 game 4-5 minutes in. Once both teams got dialed in it was bombs away.
eight minutes in too. So yeah, took off a littlle from there. 80 points for each team in 32 minutes?!
Didn't see the game but DVR'd it. So, uh, is this one worth watching?
It'll be even better without the heart attacks everyone else had live. Have to experience how awesome Walton was today.
Depends on your hear condition. Robinson's missed FTs at the end could have been huge, in a bad, bad way.
For a minute I was thinking we were going to be on the wrong end of one of those classic March Madness endings, with OkState hitting some kind of long-distance or contested three to win it.
Then Wilson got to the line and iced it.
with Wilson on the line, up only two, I was like, please don't miss and have them come down and hit some crazy three (which they did twice in the last minute!).
but made sure not to see or hear anything about bball until I got home. Definitely worth it. I also have to agree with some of the people that thought it was going to be a heartbreaking loss, especially after the Robinson misses.
One thought: I think a missed front-end of a one-and-one should count for an 0-2 in the stats. I know the shooter technically only missed one, but that's two points given away. In regards to Duncan Robinson, I really don't feel 2-5 captured how bad those misses really were. Just my two cents...
And win b a win. Next up for our future national cham ... not gonna jinx it.
Also, the plane didn't crash this time. Even mo' muppets.
I believe they bussed to Indy.
Shouldn't you have said "Let's be careful out there"?
Good thing we won!
Two top 25 KenPom teams. It was ridiculous that the committee matched us up.
and were clearly better than a 10 seed. That game was played at a high level IMO.
I wasn't expecting Muppets for just a 1st round NCAA win, but considering that this really should have been a Regional matchup, I can understand it.
at the buzzer.
Oklahoma State was getting +2 or +2.5 and they somehow covered the point spread on that last shot. Talk about a killer way to lose a bet but that's basketball for you with the point spread.
Your upbeat tone leads me to believe you didn't bet on this one!
His username leads me to believe that he is the house and takes his cut regardless.
I will admit though that I thought about it all week.
Thankfully it worked out as NOT losing a bet can be as good as winning one (if that makes any sense).
My brother in law is at a sports book in Vegas and freaked out when OK State hit that three. Then realizing he was drunk he sent us a picture and he bet Michigan to win straight up!
against a tough opponent. 3 point heaven. WOW!!!
Gotta make the front end of those 1 and 1s..... Whew that was close! GO BLUE!!
Rebounds: OSU 40, UM 21 (soo many made 3s by Wolverines)
Turnovers: OSU 10, UM 4!!!!!!!
4 Turnovers in a game!!??
of a Beilein offense. This team does that (single digit turnovers). Often. There was a point that we averaged only 6 a game in the Big Ten games. We're very careful with the ball.
Their plan wasn't to stop Michigan, but to out-shoot and out-rebound us.
They out-rebounded us.
I like their chances against Louisville.
All of the scoring, the numerous lead changes combined with high percentage of made three's in the 2nd half by Michigan took the game to even higher levels IMO
We beat them at their own game. They want to outscore with high shooting percentages, pushing the ball up the floor. We outshot them and out scored them. We played an offensive game and with the exception of some key blocks and a couple charges, we didn't bother with a defense. We took their best and bested them with it.
This team has learned a lot in the last month. They can beat anyone right now. And I include those 1 seeds too. We get hot, we can beat a Carolina or a Duke.
Jeff Carroll is terrifying. 19 points on 8 shots. . . I hope I never see that again.
they were like two buzzing gnats. We couldn't stop them to save our lives. So we just outscored them. This team has some serious poise. Losing the 8 point lead to a 2 point lead would choke many teams. Most probably. Not them. They just calmly built it back to out of reach. Amazing.
for the last few games he's been getting these really cheap fouls. He has to stop doing that if we expect to run deep. He's too valuable to sit but today he was a liability. He'll come around though. He's tough.
Fun game to watch in retrospect!
UP NEXT
Michigan faces the winner of the Louisville-Jacksonville State on Sunday in Indianapolis. The Wolverines have never faced the Gamecocks and haven't played the Cardinal since the 1997 NIT.
Obviously the writer doesn't watch much college basketball...
i wonder how long it took to find the last time we played Stanford vs the 2 seconds it takes to see you didnt add an 's' to the nickname
