I don't know if mankind will transfer to OU.
EDIT: You edited the title. Damn.

Sounds like a good spot for him.
February 8th, 2017 at 3:46 PM ^
As a proud Bobcat, I welcome him with open arms! I might have to try to catch a game this year. I think he could be a decent RB at the MAC level if they give him a shot there.

had to check the box score after the game to confirm what i thought i witnessed - and if i recall correctly atlanta averaged over 5 ypc yet only rushed like 20 times, maybe less - shocking they totally abandoned. obviously freeman started hot but didnt get nearly enough touches.
im glad the pats won, just surprised w atlanta. i realize ryan, julio and crew are beasts and atlanta tried to do whatever necessary to move the ball and rack up more points to finish off brady but crazy they failed to run it more (as everyones been saying)

It was a crime that Freeman, who averaged over 9yds per touch, only had 13 touches. Most of those were in the first half.

This sounds about right.

Go get another degree. Best of luck.

Good luck, Wyatt!

Frank Solich down there still emphasizes the running game, and they had success with similar Shallman-type backs in Bo Hardy and Beau Blankenship 2-3 years ago. Seems like a good fit.

"Didn't work out for him" is a little harsh. He got his degree while on scholarship and some playing time here and there which is more than most people could ever hope for. No he's not in the NFL draft, and wasn't a star, but jeesh, cut the guy some slack.

Wyatt is taking his talents, and kangaroo, to Ohio. Best of luck to both.

For the crocs. Unless he had an Australian toothpick.
An Australian toothpick (probably made in Tennessee):

As a proud OU alum, you made a very fine choice, young man.
Best of luck to you and tear up the MAC!

look there. Good luck to Wyatt though!

It's tough that he did not see the field much at Michigan, but seems like a good guy. Oh, and this goes here:
February 8th, 2017 at 5:23 PM ^
Michigan can officially adopt another school? Cuz OHIO's got moxie.
Slippery Rock just isn't trying anymore.
February 8th, 2017 at 5:36 PM ^
IMO the Slippery Rock gimmick was old by the early '90s. Maybe before that.

My game sign game.

Thomas Rawls 2.0.
February 8th, 2017 at 5:20 PM ^
Not at all...Rawls showed flashes at Michigan and didn't have the greatest OL.
Shallman was never a RB and it's not because he's white. It's because when you're in HS and listed as a FB/TE/DE/OLB prospect...you're not going to be a RB, it just doesn't work that way.
Should've been in the Houma/Khalid Hill role from DAY 1.
February 8th, 2017 at 5:18 PM ^
What position will he play?
February 8th, 2017 at 5:47 PM ^
He's 6'3 242 so that makes him a perfect tweener for all those positions you listed at Ohio (including RB I suppose).
Was he TOO MUCH of a tweener (I hate that word) at Michigan? Sounds like a LB to me.
Hope he gets to play his heart out.

I don't think either is a tweener...I think Shallman would've made an awesome FB if he would've redshirted, added weight, and spent 5 years playing the position.
Just my opinion.
February 8th, 2017 at 5:27 PM ^
I wish him well.
February 8th, 2017 at 5:38 PM ^
Does anyone know the details of how the transfer process starts for these guys (Morris, Dawson, Shallman, et al.)? Do they approach the schools? Other way around?
I wonder how many options they had.
February 8th, 2017 at 5:44 PM ^
I hope he has a huge season for them. Too many injuries side tracked his career at UM. Hope he has a healthy and succesful Senior season with Ohio.

What has Athens to do with Ann Arbor?

- Wyatt take him so long? and of course
- BEAT OHIO
