Scott Frost is the saltiest man on the planet
Frost doubles down: "We out-hit them in the first half and I thought we out-hit them in the second half. ... I thought we won that battle."
— Nick Baumgardner (@nickbaumgardner) September 10, 2016
Scott Frost: "It's rare when you come into Michigan and rush for 300 yards on them. They had to run a fly sweep in the 4th to get to 100"
— Nick Baumgardner (@nickbaumgardner) September 10, 2016
UCF coach Scott Frost: "We came in here and outhit those guys today. There's no doubt which team was hitting harder"

Poke fun at Frost for saying "we out hit them" in a 51-14 loss, but don't poke fun at a guy for being in great shape. That's just as dumb as Frost's comments.

I thought he meant because of his obvious mental acuity problem, he must be doing some type of drugs. Could be wrong.
September 10th, 2016 at 6:52 PM ^
That is what I thought as well, I guess his S&C Lens is framing his perspective.

if he thinks that they hit more. I don't hunderstand the offense if he had been reffering, hehe refer, to them hitting the bong more though either so. Of course that might wrong about that too.
September 11th, 2016 at 9:47 AM ^
Scott Frost's mom, while pregnant with little Scottie, must have been regularly hitting the bong getting a Colorado "Rocky Mountain high".
Proof? Frost has been delusional for at least the last 20 years (if not since birth).

Fair enough. If the comment meant to insinuate he's high then I apologize. Only the poster knows for sure.
I took it to mean he's taking PEDs. When someone references a guy on drugs in the sports world, that's the typical reference, especially for a muscular guy.
The poster that said my strength world perspective frames my perspective is probably correct. However, if the comment could have been taken that way, regardless of the intention, then it's in poor taste IMO.

Hey frosty:

Scoreboard Coach. Give UCF credit for playing hard. For Michigan though, it was partly about getting Wilton some more experience since he only threw 13 passes first week.

I am not a big fan of the targeting call at all, but he hit a player who was turning in the open field blindly by launching himself at him high to the head and chest. McDoom's facemask was forced down into his chest. If the defender makes any attempt to wrap and shoots his arms through and gets his face to the ball, this is a non-factor. Instead, he tried to knock the daylights out of a defenseless player. When I played I would have done the same thing, but we didn't know about issues related to concussions then. He knows the rule, he broke every part of the rule except, maybe contact to the head, byut when McDooms head came forward, the contact was made. I do not believe it was a horrible call.

Crown of his head to helmet. The rule doesn't require intent or damage. Defenseless reciever, head to head, hit the shower. But a few years ago that would have been an GREAT hit.
September 10th, 2016 at 8:25 PM ^
popped right back up. That could have been bad.
September 10th, 2016 at 8:57 PM ^
great hit. Nothing has changed.
September 10th, 2016 at 10:21 PM ^
There was no helmet to hemlet at all! At best, it was shoulder to lower part of McDoom's facemask. I don't think targeting should have been called. And serioulsy, if that hit were called against Michigan, everyone here would have been bitching about it like a stuck pig...

but he made it sound like they came to A2 and kicked our arses, he could have said that he was proud of the way his team played especially on the ground but give M credit for winning like they did.....or something like that.

Not much of a bright spot when you have 182 yards on 4 carries one of which is a qb scramble and 93 yards on the other 42 carries while Michigan is down three starters and shuffling freshmen in and out of the game.

September 10th, 2016 at 8:09 PM ^
hes trying to build up his team and find some positives in a 30 point loss or whatever. whats he supposed to say?
i actually think ucf played tough, they were just overmatched. michigan obviously had way more talent and won easily despite playing a fairly sloppy overall game - but ucf is much tougher than hawaii (though thats not saying much).
ucf played tough, aggressive run D and really rallied to the ball. their scheme and some timely calls allowed them to blow up numerous runs before m even got started. they actually pressured speight a few times too (either via great blitzes or poor blocking) though it didnt much bother him and he still played a solid game.
and ucf ran the ball ok - sure, they had plenty of runs stuffed at the LOS (and a putrid pass game) and needed a few long ones to hit the 250-300 total rush yards or whatever but they also exploited some areas of michigans D (areas which m hopefully addresses sooner than later). m took care of business as they should, and while ucf stinks, they still played hard and frost is just trying to do his job
September 11th, 2016 at 8:04 AM ^
And take away the chunk yards from the 4 plays they got them from and they have 93 yards rushing.

September 10th, 2016 at 6:14 PM ^
I think you have to give him credit where credit's due. UCF played very well considering how outmatched they were on paper. And you know that a real communist offense with NFL personnel like OSU's will save this film.
September 10th, 2016 at 10:34 PM ^
came out today. and I don't think OSU cares how Michigan's third and fourth string played.
September 11th, 2016 at 12:34 AM ^
Glasgow, Gedeon, McCray and the entire secondary (with Kinnel rotating in) were in until the end of the game or second to last drive. Starting OL was in for most of the game too.

I was at the game, and the perception live is often different from watching on tv. To some extent, I agree with Frost. Their guys on D were flying around, penetrating, and hitting hard. I thought they played harder than our guys. We won with special teams, big plays, and superior talent... not necessarily superior effort.
