Updated 2017 ESPN 300 Recruit Rankings
http://www.espn.com/college-sports/football/recruiting/playerrankings/_…
ESPN just released their updated 2017 recruit rankings.
Most of Michigan's commits either dropped or stayed relatively the same.
McCafferey dropped to the #2 QB and #45 overall. (Previously #1/#19)
Aubrey Solomon is #61 overall
Luiji Villain is #102 overall
St-Juste is still just a 3 star 75. They have him listed as the #57 CB.
As far as recruits who Michigan is still in it for:
Isiaiah Wilson is #2 overall
Najee Harris is #3 overall
DPJ dropped to #32 overall
Cesar Ruiz is #70 overall
Ambry Thomas is #261
JKP is #265
Happily, St.-Juste will be proving that ranking is a crime while wearing a winged helmet.
Good luck, wide receivers . . . .

ESPN rankings are a joke. I would've said the same if all of our commits became five stars.

iirc, they're the most accurate with regards to predicting high NFL draft picks
I'm surprised JDP isn't higher based on that same premise. Maybe not as tall as the extremely freakish CJ type receivers but has all the frame and ability of a very solid college player. Very Funchess like dare I say - minus an inch of height. Def has pro ability

Why should a college recruiting service be judged on that?
the more NFL talent you have on the roster, the better for your team.
Should have known he would be putting out a front page recruiting update.

ESPN is the worst one. (IMO)
This "update" is further evidence of ESPNs fire and forget style of rankings. Most players gradually drop from their original rankings as new players get evaluated, but already ranked players rarely move up because they don't get reevaluated.

Some have said he is the best player in Michigan this year. 247 has moved him up to #32, Scout has him at #55, and Rivals has slowly dropped him from #133 down to #174.
