Vegas over/unders released for the 2016 College Football Season
http://www.vegasinsider.com/college-football/story.cfm/story/1772830
I guess I'll put the relevant ones for us down here: Michigan +/- 10 (the same as Alabama), Ohio State +/- 9.5, Michigan State +/- 7.5, Notre Dame +/- 9.5, Nebraska +/- 8.5, Iowa +/- 8.5.
(I included Nebraska and Iowa because they're the teams with the best odds to win the Big Ten West)
Like last year?
Not surprised you sympathize with those who win by flukes and dumb luck given you're an ND fan.
By the way: South Bend is in the Midwest, not on the Atlantic Coast.
They know that. They're just afraid of joining the superior conference
ND lost to Northwestern, 43-40 a week after #M00N. At home.
and phork is a DICK ... still.
Go Blue!

How depressing must the B1G West be?
You know you're not winning the conference. This is like the Big 12 North all over again.
Also: when your co-favorite to win the division went 5-7 last year.......lol

It can happen, but it won't be happening anytime soon.
The B1G East is the best division in college football.

To be fair to Nebraska, they were much better than their record indicated last year. They lost seven games by a combined 31 points (with some of them coming on the last play). That's an anomaly that probably won't happen again this year.
I mean yeah they lost some heartbreakers, but giving up 55 to Purdue and being behind 42-16 in that game wasn't a fluke.
Because I still hate them, and I assume you guys do too.
9.5 is a lot for them, considering their savior Brian Kelly has averaged like 8 wins a season there (excluding the incredibly lucky 2012 season)

something might happen. The oddsmakers did. The people making these bets enjoy the extra uncertainty they provide. That can work in your favor too. It's not as if you know what's going to happen with other sports bets anyway.

OK, but just who the fuck do they think we are losing to?
If so I think MSU is the most likely over to hit (as much as I hate to say it...) although Michigan would be tempting with our cake OoC schedule. I think we win at least one over MSU - OSU and don't buy the Iowa hype so we would have to lose a "probable win" to not hit 11. Depends on QB play and OL health.
I would think OSU is most likely a push unless they get past OU somehow on Norman early on.

it takes time to build a great team. i give michigan one more year. i think the qb is the key this year.
Next year we lose a ton of talent. This is the year to do it, then 2018 and beyond should have shots at it.
The 2017 team will have a LOTTT of new faces. 2016 has to be the year, otherwise it'll be at least two years, in this man's opinion, before we can content for a title again.
But Harbaugh has surprised before, so what do I know?

I'm seriously thinking about putting money on MSU with the over.
If they go over, I win money.
If they go under, I feel partly responsible for them having a shitty year. And I bet that'd feel nice.
Either way, I win.
