Respect and admire the Carrs for what they've done with the ChadTough Foundation. Trying to help others in the face of such horrific adversity. We should all be so #ChadTough. Sending a card seems like a small lift, go do it.

Also Tammi Carr tweeted this:
UM and OSU men's basketball coaches came together to do this for #chadtough. Some things are bigger than the rivalry pic.twitter.com/NxfOx7AX0u

Saw it and did it this afternoon. Sending the family my thoughts and prayers in what I'm sure is a very difficult time. #Chadtough

I'm all for sending Chad Carr all of the cards and all of the love, but does anyone know if there's a way to do something similar for other Mott patients?
I know you can give a bear, but I didn't see anything on their site about sending something like a card.

I found this on the Mott website:
I have a class or group that wants to make cards for the patients for the upcoming holiday? Do you accept those?
No, we do not give out traditional cards to children, but if you are looking for something children can make, we can use decorated bookmarks that can be laminated and given to children as part of the Giving Library. Also, we do accept some artwork from area elementary and middle schools to display in window boxes around the hospital. In either case, we request items be upbeat and cheerful and not say anything about being sick, getting better soon, etc. Call 734-764-6874 or e-mail [email protected]for more information.

Honestly, I'd call and/or e-mail and ask for sure. I find it hard to believe if you're sending the kids something nice/fun/upbeat that they wouldn't want to give it to the kids. They might be able to give you other ideas of what things might be acceptable to give/send.

This x100. Recently rolled out 360's in all the rooms and the only game selections at first were $5 low budget kiddy games. Call about donating your old 360 games or new in package high end coloring books intended for teens/adults, nail polish, etc. The little things like that make a huge different when the teens are stuck at mott for 2 weeks at a time over the holidays.
