I cannot stand the guy. Whether he's ESPN or BTN...PLEASE stop letting him call Michigan games.

play, I posted that Matt Millen should not be throwing the stupid word around. It's like he's trying to make people he knows better than these kids when he's shown how much he knows.

Thought I was listening to "Mr. Know-It-All", who happened to be gracing me with his knowledge as a favor to me. It sounds rude, even when I agree with his opinion. Blowhard is the term that came to mind, and then I realize it is Millen, who set a standard for incompetence in running a football team that cannot be equaled.
Only thing missing was a mindless, unsolicited defense of Paterno.

He has the distinction of being the worst GM in the history of the NFL! How the Fords signed him to a second contract speaks volumes as to their legacy of ownership.
Why the BIG would want to expose him to Lion's fans is stupidity on their part.
I recall the last time he was doing one of our games and he had to add some senseless dribble praising PSU about something, which had nothing to do with our game.

Every time he says a thing I try to put a - sign in front of it but sometimes it's hard to know where the brackets are.

I thought this thread was going to be about him describing Rudock as having had an "excellent" day.

I thought this thread was going to be about him describing Rudock as being brought in for his big arm, not because of his (in)ability to read a defense.
Though it is kinda expecting too much from the guy who drafts reciever after receiver after receiver in the hope that one will stick.
His line about Kugler knowing what to do with groceries was good though.

My favorite part of him today was after the Michigan onside kick. He says that he just doesn't understand why they would try it in that situation and then goes on to explain why it would make sense to do it in that situation.

its football not feelingsball.
The players were problaly saying the same thing after they did it. Make a bad mistake, get criticized for said mistake. If someone is too soft to be able deal with that they have no place on a football field or any other performance position. The plays that Millen was critical about were plays that should not happen at the college level.

If you can put aside the fact that he was The Worst NFL Executive Ever, he'd just be the typical ex-jock who spouts stupid stuff as a commentator.
If you can put it aside.
A big if. Massive.

He kept talking about what a good game Rudock was having. I recall him making that point toward the end of the 3rd quarter.
Last 2 plays of that quarter, Rudock missed wide open receivers.
