What's the first offensive playcall of the Harbaugh era?

Submitted by TraumaRN on

Since time is crawling along here at work and I'm not going to be productive anyways...I got to thinking what's going to be the first playcall for the offense tonight?

My guess just on tendency...inside Power O to the left.

Then again I'm not creative...does Harbaugh dare run PA on first down just because everyone in the stadium will be thinking..."He's gonna try and jam this down our throats?"

I had a dream last night that we opened w/ a power QB run off left tackle coming from a heavy pistol formation.  Ruddock, who turns out to be much faster than we'd realized, bursts upfield, cuts it back to the right, and gets all the way down to the 1.  TD two plays later through the air.  So that will definitely happen.

Also, for some reason we'll be wearing 49ers uniforms.  Stupid dream.

Wouldn't be surprised if Harbaugh continues his Bo homage parade with 3 yards and a cloud of dust on the first play.  But to usher in a new era of Michigan excellence it will be Smith for 4 yards.

A run because the game starts like this:

1. Peppers returns opening kickoff for TD.
2. Defense goes three and out.
3. We block their punt and get the ball at their 3 yd line.
4. Coach calls a run for it second TD.

I have a feeling this season will be reminiscent of Michigan 2005-2006. I feel like our young RBs are going to be catching a lot of screens. My first playcall is RB screen, checkdown to Butt.
