Andrew Copp scores his first NHL point
Welp, that was fast.
Andrew Copp is in his first NHL appearance tonight and he just tallied his first career NHL point against the Calgary Flames.
Jets lead the Flames 4-1.
On the Stempniak goal, @Copp94 picks up his first NHL point with the assist!

Aight
Didn't know hockey players made the jump right into the pros like that lol. Thought there had to be a year lag period even though they are pre-drafted so to speak.
No, it's always been like this.
Red Berenson literally left Michigan the night after Michigan won the NCAA 3rd Place game in 1962 to join the Montreal Canadiens.

I think it is pretty cool myself. Finish your collegiate career and then jump right into a playoff race and possibly the Stanley Cup playoffs. Pretty awesome experience for a young hockey player.
