Out of curiousity I took a quick swing through some rosters. You're right that most corners seem to be around 200 or under, but heavier ones are there.
Patriots Brandon Browner CB 6-4 221
Dallas Brandon Carr CB 6-0 210
Saints Stan Jean-Baptiste CB 6-3 218
Saints Keenan Lewis CB 6-1 208
Colts Vontae Davis CB 5-11 207
Ravens Jimmy Smith CB 6-2 209
Seahawks Byron Maxwell CB 6-1 207

Denard is a better RB.
I dont see what the difference bewteen Funchess at WR or TE. Like, his role reay didnt change that much except he blocked less (which was for the better).
Gardner shouldve been a WR all four years. We just didnt have a QB better than him.
I dont think he was trying to say he has some kind of inside source, just a guess based on the fact that more weight usually means a move to Safety

Patrick Peterson weighs 219. I'd say corner has worked out pretty well for him.

I hope Coaches Jackson and Zordich show him the secondary potential with him and Peppers back there.

Time to implement the Marshall plan.

You mean invoke Marshall Law?

Iman sure knows that NFL games are played in sub zero temperatures.

They do play in cold rainy/snowy weather--especially when the games count-- like today.

All the losers tweeting the recruits is downright scary and inappropriate.
PLEASE DO NOT.
January 18th, 2015 at 8:01 PM ^
Anyone who tweets a recruit and does not personally know them is really creepy, IMO.
January 18th, 2015 at 8:05 PM ^
How else are we gonna convince him to commit??
January 18th, 2015 at 8:38 PM ^
If the coaches, facilities, reputation of the academics and tradition can't do it, your tweets sure won't..so shut up

NO YOU SHUT UP

I agree not to do it... but the "creepy" thing is very overplayed. I think that's just an insult people use sometimes when they are against tweeting recruits. Of course, there probably is some over the line/creepy instance.. but the casual "come to ann arbor/go blue" posts aren't "creepy".
Again tho, I agree just don't tweet them at all.
January 18th, 2015 at 8:08 PM ^
I guess I find it creepy when they're middle aged men. To me that's just weird.
January 18th, 2015 at 11:50 PM ^
Ehh...saying "Go Blue!" or "Come to Ann Arbor" is pretty innocent. I dont think thats creepy or weird at all because I would probably say it to the kid in real life if I happened to see them.
Saying something like "Commit to Michigan or I will rape your little sister" is more along the lines of creepy/weird.
I think there is a clear distinction there.
For what its worth, Im a 21 y/o with twitter and Ive never tweetered at a recruit. I just find the whole "creepy" thing to be overplayed. I dont tweet at them because I would find it to be a waste of time to type and send something to someone who probably isnt going to read it and I really just dont have the desire to do so anyway, but hey, if someone finds the need to tweet "#GoBlue" at a recruit, there is nothing wrong with that. Its probably annoying to an extent, but you can filter mentions from the public and from people you know pretty easily. It iss something that comes with the territory of being a D1 recruit and I would gladly be a D1 football recruit, even if it meant I got fanmail. And if the kid doesnt want those kinds of messeges he could just make his account private.

Creepy/weird? That's more along the lines of sick/illegal.

I bet you cut it by 2/3rds at least. Reaching the far characters and using the shift key really hurt your time with one hand. It's cumbersome.
January 18th, 2015 at 10:18 PM ^
I can reach as far as the 0 key with the left shift which is plenty since there's a right shift right?

I dont support tweeting any recruits, but creepy really isnt the right word. Creepy is kind of over used now-a-days.
Tweeting a recruit is just obsessive (which we are anyway, but whateves..). Its also overstepping some boundaries and probably annoying for the recruit, but its not really that creepy to be honest

I can't believe 91% of people ages 18-34 are on facebook. Does that count if you have ever had a facebook account or just at the time of the survey? I used to be on but deleted my account several years ago.
I was a freshman at Michigan, living in East Quad when we first got facebook. I was the second person from my hometown on, crazy to think how that has changed.
